Question campaign ideas

Considering making a campaign with no historical value. First 3-4 battles are nothing more than "training". Free targets to shoot at for 5 turns to get some cheap experience. After that would be 20 x 80 maps with seemingly endless tanks coming at you, increasing in difficulty each time. After each battle you would get fair amount of points to repair and to expand your core forces.

Questions i have are:

1. How is exp determined? By mere presence on the battlefield or making kills?

2. Is there a guide to properly making a campaign so all text files match up?

3. Would anyone have an interest in playing such a campaign?

Answering what I can off the top of my head;

2) Should be covered in the User Campaign Editor of the game manual. just make sure you have the numbering for the various files so that match the scenario/node numbers. For example say your using slot #23 for your campaign.

For the campaign itself you would have a ucamp023.dat and ucamp023.txt file.

Then you would need the following files for "each" node/scenario in the campaign (based on the 1st node/scenario).

Taking the 1st node/scenario, you will have a C023s000.dat file and u023i000.txt briefing file. Then you would also have 5 .txt files for that end battle results briefing [u023a000.txt, u023b000.txt, u023c000.txt, u023d000.txt and u023e000.txt].

Again, you would have these 6 files for each node/scenario in the campaign and the number sequence would be the same except for the node/scenario number of the file.

1.Both, but simply firing into enemy, capturing v-hexes, and probably some more factors wich i have no clue of what it might be may do as well

3.might be fun, but something like 40*80 would do better, as it adds space for tactics

If you want cheap experince just turn troop quality off & set it 5 or 10 higher rather than shooting at targets.
