Re: Problem with worm holes
With a ship selected, use the "warp" command ("w" button, or the icon of a wormhole with an arrow going in)
then click the wormhole.
Travelling through will take you to another starsystem, or possibly a nebula/blackhole.
The entire map is usually referred to as the galaxy map, implying that there is only one galaxy in any one game.
PS: Your ship will only be damaged if the wormhole's description mentions something dangerous. No description = no danger.

It is possible to move across the center of a black hole, but if your ship ends movement on the center it will take a large amount of damage, enough to destroy all but the most heavily armored ships. quote: How can I improve relations whith nation which is hostile with me?
Staying out of territory that they claim is the only thing that I know of which always works. Giving gifts helps sometimes, but not very often. Using a "pleading" message tone works with some races, and a "demanding" tone works with others.

Things to do:
- Keep your ships from staying in their territory, especially their colonies.
- Avoid battles, and if you do fight, don't kill the crippled, retreating ships.
- Giving lots of small gifts helps, but murderous races will not accept them.
- Don't ever share maps, and avoid partnerships (military alliance is good though). When the AIs see your planets, they get envious and greedy.
- Watch out for friend-of-my-enemy syndrome. Nobody likes somebody who helps fund their enemy's army.

Re: Problem with worm holes
And be aware that some AIs will probably hate you regardless, while others may warm to you over time IF you don't irritate them (including, say, constantly sending them treaty requests). Read the race descriptions; the ones that tend to be xenophobes have this implied, IIRC (e.g., I don't recall any sweet-talking, described-as-friendly, but really murderous xenophobic teddy bear races).

Re: Problem with worm holes
The other thing that's interested me is protectorate. How it works?
When I try that with the other race they allways decline me.

Re: Problem with worm holes
The only time I got protectorate to work was when I had an AI player as a trading partner and I was dramatically superior to him in all aspects. The AI agreed to protectorate, then to subjugation. It appears to work only when the personality of the race is not aggressive and the alternative would be easy conquest. That seems realistic, but it limits its usefulness.
