Default Gateway turn order question

I have a bunch of troops under siege in a castle by one enemy troop, however a bunch will enter the province next turn and attack.

If I break siege with my troops in the castle, and gateway in other troops, will the gatewayed troops break the siege, defend the province against the incoming troops or just sit inside the castle? Will the troops that are killing the guy sieging the castle then defend the province later that turn?

Basically, I want my gatewayed troops and my troops that are breaking the siege to attack together.

You can't do that. Also, you can't catch a besieging force before reinforcements move in.
Everything you teleport by magic means will appear in the castle. That's why, for example, flying from one enemy castle to another with an sc/thug is absolutely safe unless he patrols

So if I don't break siege this turn my gatewayed troops won't appear outside the castle by themselves and be slaughtered? Good to know, thanks!
