The future of SE:IV
There has been a lot of talk lately about the game and it's future. With the disruptions recently due to outside events and events in Aaron's life there has been a lull in new material coming out. I want to address that and propose a few things to fix it.
1) I would like to nominate a few folks to act as official moderator's for the forums. I am only looking for one or two folks who I know have a good track record and have experience handling this sort of thing. Oh and don't get your feelings hurt if I don't pick you, I only need a few folks.
2) I would encourage folks who have sites to talk to us about becoming part of our banner exchange program so your site can get additional expsoure.
3) The patch support will continue and we have exciting plans in store for the rest of the year in regards to SE:IV. We have not abandonded this game and you will see more from us in the very near future.
I want to thank all of you who have been long time fans of the game. I don't have the time to read every message on this board, every day, but you guys have made supporting this game a fun and rewarding time. Let's keep it up ad continue to move the community forward.

Re: The future of SE:IV
It's us who should say thanks first and foremost to Aaron for this time consuming game (someone please tell me what day it is) and yourself Richard for the doing the job in the first place, also for supplying the information we all crave for. There are many qualified peeps here who can help you (first choice has gotta be Atrocities) but whoever you choose i sincerely wish them well.
regards tic

Re: The future of SE:IV
I suggest that a special thread be started up to consolidate patch ideas. People should keep their suggestions to bullet points. Where points are unclear (ie need additional explanation) the Moderators could start up separate threads...
I for one have started to lose track of all of the good suggestions that people are posting. The "Patch" type threads that have been posted previously contain a lot of good info but tend to wander after a while. If moderated though, I think they could be of great help to Richard, Aaron etc....
What do you think?
Regards,
GE

Re: The future of SE:IV
Thank you for the news. Ive passed the info along to Atrocities. William is still far from being up to speed, and still rather far under the weather at the moment to come home. I am no artist, or I would have constructed a banner for his site.
He is interested, that is a certainty, in helping Malfador and Shrapnel in any way he can, but he has been side lined by his health, which I am very happy to report is showing signs of improving, slight improvement, but still improvement.
Does any one know how to make banners, and if so, would you consider making one for NASY? You would be acknowledge as the banner creator, and hold my personal appreciation, as well as Atrocities.

Thanks for the update Richard.
CNCRaymond: Glad to hear that Atrocities is getting better. I know long hospital stays are a trial for a family (my wife is a cancer survivor...so far). Hang in there..

Re: The future of SE:IV
I'll volunteer for a moderator position if you see fit. I've had experiance on the old HB forums about slamming down flame wars before they start, nailing down software pirates, etc.
I look forward to seeing SE4 in the stores. I've already got a digital camera ready for it.

Re: The future of SE:IV
CNCRaymond: I could do a banner for you. I'm not an artist either but I'm quite handy with pixels when I need to be. If you want to see som of my work thn take a look at the
Space vikings on my website and see if you like the style. It's all hand pixelled and it's all by me=-) Obviously I'd work to your specifications and the existing style of the site when making you a banner.

Re: The future of SE:IV
Nice information to know Richard, thanks.
I can't help on your BB, I've got my own to contend with. I think we have LCC's younger brother on ours. LOL!!
Regarding, putting up a link to your, Shrapnel's, or MM's page, that's no big problem. I'll see if I can get it done next week. We don't get a lot of traffic, but I am sure some of our visitors are your potential customer types.
