halt-sacred attribute..
Anybody knows what this does exactly?
The in-game description says something like 'units hit by this weapon (with the halt-sacred attribute) will suffer this as a result' --> but what exactly? Is their bless cancelled? Are they literally halted (paralyzed or something)? Etc
Any inputs are much appreciated.

Re: halt-sacred attribute..
Sacred units may be stopped from attacking them with physical attacks - they have an effect like Awe except only against sacred units.

Re: halt-sacred attribute..
No PvK, that's 'bane of heresy' or whatever, the passive ability. Halt sacred is a fatigue causing aoe secondary effect on certain weapons.

Re: halt-sacred attribute..
The passive ability is called "Halt Heretic"; that's what I had in mind. It's on the unit.
The weapon ability I know of is called "Bane of Heresy", and it is an aoe fatigue effect.
At least, according to the MA Ulm Lord Guardian, that's what they are called.
"Halt Sacred" sounds like a misnamed "Halt Heretic" (the awe effect on the unit), unless it's something else I've not heard of.

I hope "halt heretic" gets added as a modding command.

Right you are, I was confused because he was talking about attributes on weapons.

Re: halt-sacred attribute..
It is a weapon attribute. A Lanka summon (Davana) has a few weapons which are labelled 'halt sacred'.
I checked the description again and it literally says 'units hit by this weapon will also suffer this effect'

Re: halt-sacred attribute..
The Lord Guardian of MA Ulm has an ability that is named Halt Heretic, which works like awe against enemy sacred units. I do not know whether the Halt Sacred weapon effect does the same thing (presumably results in a morale check or lose action next turn if it hits, which would be the same).
Both of those are different from the Black Halberd's Bane of Heresy secondary effect that does aoe AP fatigue damage.

Re: halt-sacred attribute..
There's a halt demon ability on the weapon of one of the pretenders. I guess halt sacred is like that, only for sacreds.

Maybe someone should go test-wield them...
