Problems with making custom sprite
Ok so I'm using Photoshop, and the background for the image is 0,0,0 black in RGB mode, but in game the black box is still showing up. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, all the other ones I have made are not having this problem.
Is there something I could be missing?
(And I didn't make it from scratch, just modified the heck out of one of the Illwinter ones.)

Re: Problems with making custom sprite
I've sometimes had a problem with saving the image in wrong .tga type. It has to be RLE packed, and something else. I circumvent this by saving the final image with IrfanView, which makes black transparent as it should be.
You can just make the black background 100% transparent; that works just as well.

Re: Problems with making custom sprite
Well, it's not the RLE... I'd really hate to go around and erase the black but that might just be the easiest thing at this point (lots of details I'm going to have to go around.)
I tried using IrfanView with no luck.

Re: Problems with making custom sprite
I bet Photoshop has some kind of 'select by color' tool. If not, give GIMP a try.

Re: Problems with making custom sprite
I've used Photoshop a long time ago, before getting Gimp, and I remember it was easy to select all black of a spesific shade if one knew how.
It could also be worth checking that the black really is still 0,0,0 shade.
