Default Caelum MA - subing at turn 35 - advice wanted

Like the subject line says. Caelum is doing very well in this now 12 player MP game (Testament of Blood).

What should I Caelum shoot for? Can't give any details of my position, so asking for general advice on research and how best to play Caelum. Especially what to watch out for from my neighbors - Abysia, Helheim, Pythium and Jotunheim.

All except Abysia and Helheim are seperated from me by several sea provinces that I control. Abysia seems to be the only nation besides Caelum in the water.

I'm familiar with the mammoths backed up by archers tactic, but how long can you get away with that?

I must warn you that I have never won a MP with Caelum, so take what I say with a pile of salt.

Mammoths will start failing mid to late-mid game. your opponets will hit them with fear causing spells or other nasty stuff. Eventually it will be much better to spend your gold on mages than mammoths. I hope you have already started to switch over your armies.

Spamming thunderstrike is fun, can be done even with the air 2 guys after casting summon storm power. It is sooo worth it to forge a few staffs of storms for this. this is obvious advise, sorry.

If you got enough mages set a few to cast Living Winds (or is it Living Air?) Air elemetals are suprsingly effective in groups.

You simply MUST control the elemental queens of Air. If you don't have them kill them and summon.

Spring Hawks can be useful even late game. Use them to harass spellcasters and commanders.

The best part is that you are super mobile. You can send Eagle king strike forces anywhere on the map with cloud trapese. You can send much larger strike forces of flyers several spaces behind enemy lines,Strik forces made of spring hawks and air elementals summoned from the Air Queens backed up with a ton of mages.

Last but not least, anything becomes a threat after being buffed with fend arrows and mass mist form. These two spells turn armies of chaff into deadly weapons.

Testament of Blood is effectively dead, unless Zach somehow appears again.

I think if one player leaves themselves connected with the bogus connections, it's not necessary for other players to also do the goofy 3-window thing.

I've left two windows open on my system permanently stuck in the "Waiting" screen for Testament. Hopefully that helps.
