Expected populations

Has anyone ever put together an "expected population" database?

For example, it would tell you how large of a population to expect in a "large" "farmland" province, or a "small" "mountain" "wasteland" "freshwater" province.

Does such a magical document exist? If not, would there be interest in one?

I'd certainly be interested in one, yes.

A table with the actual expected # of sites in each province of each terrain mask would also be nice to have.
