Default EED on BoardGameGeek

Just wanted to let everyone know that you can find the BGG entry for Eat Electric Death! here. As of this writing the game info needs to be filled in so there's not a lot there at the moment, but there will be once I find out how to modify it.

Also, in the near future I'll be posting a detailed play example so everyone can see how it works.

If you have any questions please fire away, either myself or the developers will be happy to respond. And if you're excited about it please tell your friends! Buzz is always a good thing!

Glad to see EED on BGG.

The BGG entry states a playing time of 15 minutes. Is playing a game of EED really that short?

It can, although that's the low end of the scale. When I first submitted the content I had 15-45 minutes as the time, so I guess they just took the low end. I just went and changed it to 30 minutes to better represent an 'average' play time.

Essentially a small scenario between a couple of ships can play out in as little as 15 minutes. There's very low counter density, and since all the book keeping is done via data cards and counters that doesn't add much to the length. As you add more ships playing time increases to...I would say a maximum of an hour,*maybe* hour and a half if you want to get really crazy, for a scenario.
