Default F9 bless questions

After reading the manual and the forum, I understand that 6 AP is added only to standard weapons, not to extra weapons like hoof.

But I have some questions:
1) Is this 6 AP attack treated as a seperate attack, i.e. roll another attack roll? Or it just adds to original attack?
2) If it is added to original attack, then how is damage calculated? say someone does 13 damage (10 str+3 weapon) against an opponent of 20 protection. Will this be treated as 19 AP attack (therefore 19 vs 10) or will there be two seperate damage rolls, i.e. 13 vs 20 and 6 vs 10?
3) If it is treated as a seperate attack, will each attack lower defender DEF by 4?

Thanks for the answers.

It is added to ALL weapons. It is a separate damage that hits if the original attack hits. So 13 dmg vs 20 prot and 6 AP fire against 20 prot.

But previous discussions state that it does not add to extra weapons like hoof. Can anyone clarify this?

Also it appears that that fire damage is not negated by fire resistance. Is that true?

Doesn't affect ranged either I believe. I was also under the impression it did not affect secondary weapons, just primary weapons.

1. It is added to every melee attack, including hooves.

2. 100 percent fr means the fire bless does zero extra damage(though the f9 blessed troop still gets the bonus to his attacks).

I believe both attacks (the original and AP fire damage) also count as magic weapons, for the purpose of bypassing etherealness and the like. Even if the target is 100% Fire resistant?
