Re: Visitor?
Probably not, no good slot and no armor, he is toast in close combat. He gives rlyeh access to air magic and he is good at ferrying gems/items, other than that he has few purposes. Atleast to my knowledge.

Re: Visitor?
I'd say he was a thug. Bag of wind, bottle of elemental water. He is already etheral, so script Air shield, Mistform, Mirror Image, Personal luck, Astral Shield, cast spells.
Then zip him around someones empire perhaps...

Re: Visitor?
I think his best use would probably be assaulting enemy temples to bring dominion down, and just generally being an uncatchable nuisance.
If this guy has mapmove 10, does that mean he can retreat 10 flying spaces away? I was always curious about that.

No, if none of the surrounding provinces are not yours he dies.

Re: Visitor?
Nope, retreat = death in battle if you have no adjacent provinces under your control.

Re: Visitor?
Pretty sure retreat is still only to adjacent provs. So if he retreats well behind enemy lines, he would die.
