Default Newbie question

I'm playing through the tutorial and I'm at the point where you move Panzer Platoon B. The tutorial indicates that I should see dust trails when I move the Panzers, however I do not. Am I overlooking something or is this an error in the tutorial?

I found that dust trails are sometimes visable and sometimes they are not. I think what happened is that you need to use about half the vehicles movement points, plus the vehicle needs to be on dusty type terrain. I have found discrepancies in the manual too, but in this case I know it worked for me.

Thanks for the response. I tried doing a half move but still no trails. I'm not going to worry about it too much at this point. As far as I can tell my visibility wasn't affected, so the conditions must not have been right to produce them.

Yes, the 'dust trail' rises up as a vehicle speeds along, lower the speed the less the dust. Speed is measured by % of movement points used in a turn. Wait until you have a charge down a road and everything is totally obscured by the dust! ouch. You have to clear the effects everytime you move a unit just to see where its going....

You may not see dust trails in that sceanrio. We've made some adjustments to tone down how much dust is created since that tutorial was designed. Try scenario 175 and you'll see dust.
