Default Building the better AI

I doubt very much that I'm the only modder that has played with the AI scripts a little. Some observations that I've made & hopefully someone can confirm or deny some or all of these.

1. The AI NEVER upgrades it's facilities. (No better space yards, resupply depots etc.)

2.Mine Sweepers will move to the sector right next to the minefield & will not enter (even with a shove)

3.Remove items from construction queues. I'm not 100% sure about whether it's working, but I have had one test where a planet cargo hold was full & yet it continued to try to build more units.

I have others but I'd like to hear feedback from others to see if they've had trouble with any functions also.

I'm fairly sure that #1 will be fixed in the next patch, or at least the ability for that to happen, if the AI is tweaked.

There are a couple of AI threads over at spaceempires5.com
