E-mail game

Has anyone actually played SEV ver 1.20 via e-mail? I can play single player with no problems. When I try an e-mail game and atempt to proces turn I get a black screen. At first I thought it was just me since no one here seems to have this problem. Now a friend has run into the same thing. Never had this problem with ver 1.17, only when I patched to 1.20.

It seems nobody on this forum has had my problem with e-mail processing game. I contacted Strategy First Tech Suport, acording to them it is a know problem. There advice is to go back to ver 1.17 until a fix is made.

PBW uses the same mechanics as email play, only it's automated... might want to contact Geoschmo and ask him if he's had the same problem...

I have not had any problems with 1.20, but I only process the turns using the command line options. This may be a new bug only affecting you if you run the host turn from within the load game screen in the application. I will try and run some tests this evening. You should be able to stay with 1.20 and run the host turns from the command line though. I wouldn't think you'd need to go back to 1.17.
