boots of youth
Does anyone know exactly how these work regarding old age? Do they prevent you from getting old age afflictions once you're already old, or do they just prevent you from gaining age?

I think they do both : last time I equipped an old mage with those boots, he didn't get any affliction for the whole game (but it was a short game, I might have been just lucky)

Elixir of Life is even better. Not only does it stop afflictions and aging, it brings the owner back from the dead.
