Unable to load a picture?
All of a sudden my own mod can't load Facil_627.bmp.
I haven't modified the pics, and it is from the image mod. I've been playing my mod for over a week now.
The only thing I can think of having changed was I opened the SE4Modder program within the past couple of turns. It wasn't open when the error appeared.
Any ideas?

Re: Unable to load a picture?
Perhaps the file got deleted, or otherwise corrupted.
Downloading the facility pack, and installing it over again should fix the symptoms, if not the cause.
A scandisk, a virus check and some punk-kids protection is reccommended.

Re: Unable to load a picture?
The file is present. I'm even able to open it in MS Paint.
I have virus scanner which ran last night.
Rebooted.
I'll try the download of the most recent image pack

Re: Unable to load a picture?
Reinstalling the imagepak doesn't do anything.
When I look at the facilities of a planet with that facility, everything looks fine. It is when I right click on the facility that it gives me an error. "Stream read error."

Re: Unable to load a picture?
Open it with mspaint, and then save it.
That should fix things.

Didn't work. This is very odd.

Re: Unable to load a picture?
If all else fails, you could just copy another component picture and rename it as the faulty one. That should stop any errors, and though it's not an ideal solution by any means, it'd at least allow you to play without errors.

Re: Unable to load a picture?
This is the old .bmp header problem, try and use another image program to save it like ifranview or photoshop and not MS paint.

Re: Unable to load a picture?
Using ifranview worked.
I think the key was doing a Save As, rather than just a save.
