New Shipset! The Nosral Confederacy!

I started work on this set about 2 months ago, finished 2/3 of it then couldn't find the inspiration to make the remaining models different from what had already been done. I stuck it on the back-burner until yesterday when I started to complete it, then finally took a couple hours today to finish it off.

Before you ask, yes this shipset borrowed somewhat from the Phong, one of my favorite stock SEIV shipsets. As you'll see, it's also quite different, so I think it works. If you read the README and Credits, I lay it all out there just on the off chance that you're curious

If you have any criticism, comments, etc. please feel free to post them. Be totally honest, even if you hate the set This set is totally Neo-Standard compliant as well.

I notice that you have them called "Nosral Republic" in the AI_General file. Confederacy is a better name.

Not a criticism, but just one thought to add, though - No mine, satellite, or fighter groups, and no fleet....

Ace. you might also want to check that this page: http://wiki.spaceempires.net/index.php/Tyrellian is to your liking as well. The one I put up is pretty sparse.

BTW, I wanted to say that I love the way you've taken inspiration from the Phong ships without simply copying or recolouring them. It's a recognisable Phong-derived set, but still unique. Very good. I like the way you tweaked the race pic as well.

Kinda reminds me of the Romulans; warlike beings, originally members of a compassionate race, clash with their "softie" brethren, take off for a distant world and expand without contact with their brethren for many years.....

The race portrait is creepy. It looks like some Tiberium-mutated Visceroid humanoid or something, it's really creepy

I will also be sending the updated set to Fyron, asking him to remove the bad set and loading this one instead, so until this happens, here will be the only place you can get the set.

Fyron and Black Knyght: Thank you both for your reports of errors, they are both fixed in the update. You've also been included in the README and Credits file.

Dogscoff, I'm very happy you like the set, it's always my hope that when I create something it will be appreciated by some people. Thanks a lot for letting me know you like it! It inspires me to do more in the future.

SIU: That's good you find it creepy, I was going for the slightly maniacal and evil look.
