planet conditions

Hi,

felt like a game and reinstalled it, whenever i take a planet, I always install the thing that makes the atmosphere breathable, but was wondering what does the thing do that makes conditions better?

obviously it makes conditions better, but what are the benefits of perfect condition?

Better condition increases population happiness and modifies the rate at which population reproduce. At least thats what i think. I dont bother to use those condition-cleaner-facilies, since it takes ages anyways..

Conditions only affect reproduction rates. They have affect on happiness or anything else.
