Cheating in the Battlefield Tournament

Hi folks:

I'm sure by now everyone that was interested in the Dominions 2 tournament over at the Battlefield, and sanctioned by Shrapnel, has heard the news: Norfleet cheated his way to victory. Unfortunately at this point it is too late to rectify the situation, and so Norfleet walked away with an ill gained prize. Worse, those who played by the rules ended up essentially getting burned.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who participated. Like you, we're sorry that it turned out the way it did. Hopefully in the future situations such as this won't arise.

Thanks again for participating, and may you enjoy Dominions II for years and years!

I and the-battlefield.com also want to thank all players and those who are members or interested in our site.

Its sad that a "cheater" went away with his prize, but let me say that we Banned him from the rankings and deleted all his results and of course his medal...

We try our best to fight cheaters in the future and we promise not to tolerate such unfair behaviour which destroys the fair gaming community.

Dont worry about it anymore and lets step ahead. We will have a new tourney soon, i promise !
