Modding, sprites & mindbLast
I found this "funny" behaviour: I have a mod with some new units, each of them with a brand new sprite. These sprites seem OK in every situation: recruitment screen, unit view, army setup, battle, they look fine everywhere.
BUT, when these units are paralyzed (I see it usually when they are hit by the Illithid mind bLast), the black background that you have in the sprite shows up in the battle screen, it is not seen as transparent anymore.
Any explanation/suggestion on how to solve that?
Thanks!

Re: Modding, sprites & mindbLast
Yer lucky. My sprites turned into the icon for "Water Site" and I had to restart to get them to run back to normal again. Not to mention the very strange graphic switching behavior when you add a lot of new graphics into a single mod.

Sube, can you send your mod to me and I'll take a look at the black mindlbLast thing.

Re: Modding, sprites & mindbLast
It happens also with the Knights of the Light mod, which is already uploaded in the mod section
Thanks!

Re: Modding, sprites & mindbLast
I got the same result. It will be fixed in the coming patch.
And while studing the Knight of Light mod I wanted to share this piece of wisdom. Put your sprites on a background that is 32x32, 64x32 or 64x64 pixels large. If you don't the sprite will become very fuzzy (blurred) when it is used in Dominions II.

Re: Modding, sprites & mindbLast
Many thanks!
And thanks also for the information about sprite size - that's a very welcome tip...
