Cannot create temp file (I think I know the problem!)
To create this message:
1. Create a server
2. Join your own server
3. Let turns generate while your client is NOT connected to the server.
Everytime I got this message it was when I was not connected to my own server.

Re: Cannot create temp file (I think I know the problem!)
This error message appears when Dominions is unable to create a file (called tmp_fl) in a temporary folder that it has previously created in your windows temp folder.
If you run some disk cleaning utility, then it might have removed Dominion's temp files and caused this error. Otherwise a full c: disk will result in the same error.

Re: Cannot create temp file (I think I know the problem!)
Hmmm I forgot to look for tmp files. Lots of directorys in /tmp of my linux server. Some examples are....
drwxr-xr-x 2 dominion dominion 4096 Nov 27 11:18 dominions2_26403
drwxr-xr-x 2 dominion dominion 4096 Nov 27 16:16 dominions2_27880
drwxr-xr-x 2 dominion dominion 4096 Nov 27 11:26 dominions2_38488
These are attached to games I started and killed? They dont seem to match the proc ID's and dont mention which game. How do I know when to clean those up?

Yes, that might be the problem, but it ususally "cannot create a temp file" when I am not connected to my own server. Just a thought.
And my C drive is not full and I never ran a disk clean-up.

All Dominions temp files can be safely removed when no dominions application is running.
They are probaly leftovers after some crashed Dominions games.
