I hope this forum will light up after people start playing the full Version.

I will be releasing a free download of a network game matching program for Space HoRSE, and a species editor. Keep your eyes peeled!

Haven't received my copy yet. Pre-ordered back on April 30, so hopefully it will arrive shortly.

My friend Brown (aka UPS) dropped off my copy today.

No major surprises, as I had of course played the demo. I did burn myself trying to run up the price during my first land auction, as I did not activate "classic auction" and did not read the manual until later.

I am beginning to remember how I was never very good at M.U.L.E.! It does bring back good memories of me & three friends huddled around a C=64 monitor arguing over markets.

One (minor) quirk: when entering your name at the beginning, you must use upper-case (or caps lock).

UPS delivered my copy today. Played one game so far and came in second place... slipped out of first on the Last round.

I also had trouble entering my name in the game. I tried to enter "Sportsman". The "S" took fine, but then when I hit "p", it popped up a help screen...

For some reason, the name entry screen will only accept UPPERCASE letters. It would have been nice if it simply converted lowercase to uppercase, but instead it seems to treat the lowercase letters as some kind of commands.

This appears to be a legitemate bug, but only in the "Single PC" Version. In the Network Version, it does automatically make lower case letters uppercase. Sorry about this inconvenience. After we've given Space HoRSE a little time to be played, we will address any problems that arise such as these in a small patch. Thanks for pointing it out.

These issues are fixed in the 1.03 patch.

I got a nice surprise when the "Space Rover" character wins the game. Very Nice!

If you're interested in multi player games I've set up a channel on MIRC in Dalnet called #Space_HoRSE theres a bunch of regulars there already!
