[AAR] Sector Adamant 009
***** Official Orkish History of Adamant09 sector as seen by Ork Warboss Grumsh *****
Da orks ar looking fur da fight, but da freaking elf da not be here. Da orks find da green ugly alienz, but da not elf. And da not umanz too. But soon da big fun iz coming, found some uumanz. Da war against uumanz is coming. Big Fun !!!
Da orks do Blood Pact with da Ugly Alienz to prepare da feast !
AHAHAHAHA !! Stupid umanz !
They do not understand that can be no peace between Orks and them.
WAAAAAAGGH !! War is now !!!
OOOHHHHH !!!!! Da ugly alienz friends really mean business !! Zhey got da big big fleet with da big big guns.
Good thing is da guns is na pointed on us.
YEAAAHHH !!!! SPLASHING BLOOD'ND GUTS ALL OVER DA PLACE!!!!!
We are creaming uumanz into elvish sauce !!!!! Da warboss also said to teachh orkish good manners to rock-eaters friends. Not da uuman cleansing but just da good manners teaching.
DAA GOOD !!! DAA GOOD FIGHT !!!!
**** End Of History ****
It happened that some of our friendly readers may not have the required intelligence to read orkish language(IQ must be less than 30). Please find enclosed the best translation that could be acquired from the drunk shaman appointed to Warboss Grumsh The Umaan Basher (self appointed), with our strategical comments included.
While marauding in Adamant09 sector, the orkish clan known as the Gorzaak Horde settled their main base of operation there. Once that was done, they immediately searched for elves to attack. But instead, they stumbled into a race unknown to them, which shared the same traits as them, as well as breathing the same atmosphere : the Gravey Clan. While finding them a bit too much intellectual, a peace treaty was quickly achieved, to allow both of them to prosper. However, the Horde went into some humans in the northern part of their territory : the Suezians.
From that time, the writing was on the wall, someday, there would be war.
The Orks also went into a weird specie : the Nostropholo. Despite some heavy tensions, Orks and them achieved peace. In fact a strong friendship and understanding would emerge from their alliance, but too late. The Blood Pact had already been sealed. Swearing upon the Gods of War, Death, Pain and Deceive, the Orks tied themselves to the Gravey Clan, all of them sharing their hate of the Suezians. However, while the Gravey planned to dominate the whole sector, the Orks set their goal to annihilate the Suezians by any possible mean (preferably violent and bloody).
Some contacts with other races had been achieved, but the Horde was experiencing a terrible problem : vital space. To the south was the Gravey Clan, their Blood Ally. To the north, their only warp point leading there was a strong gravity one, which did damage a large amount of ships. Further in the north was laying the Suezians and the Nostropholo. The clan did not have warp points leading east or west, so they had to live with what they took, and prepare for war.
Then, a diplomatic incident erupted when a Human explorer was found lurking in the tiny orkish territory. History will note that date as the beginning of the tidal wave of war that ravaged the sector. In retaliation, an Orkish explorer began to scout the Suezian territory. It was ended abruptly by the destruction of said explorer by the powerful Suezian Navy. The Suezian even proposed a subjugation treaty to the Orkish Horde, which was answered in a typical Orkish way ("stick da treaty in da place where da sun da not shine"). A non intercourse was agreed on. Mostly because the Gravey Clan and the Suezians were on the verge of clashing.
A cold war ensued, which Lasted for almost a year. Then the Gravey launched their attack, in one bloody battle, they annihilated the main Suezian fleet.
That was the sweet and long awaited signal.
All "War Boyz" were send into Suezian territory, with instructions of utter annihilation. The campaign proceeded smothly, but an annoying manoeuvre appeared when the Nostropholo launched a surprise attack on the Gurzaak Territory. As they were friends, the price for the attack was fixed to 5 Nostropholo systems to be cleansed before entering further peace negotiation.
Before that goal could be achieved, a general surrender of the Gravey/Gorzaak foes happened.
The Gravey clan had won the war, sometime helped by their minor Ally the Gorzaak Horde.
From then started the most disgusting part of all events in that quadrant, to which the Warboss happily yelled : "TO THE LOOT !!! LOOT THEM ALL, BOYZ !".
NOTE : these events are related from the Orkish point of view the author do not assume ANY liability about the truth, good faith or any possible sin commited by the Orkish clan known as Gorzaak Horde.

Re: [AAR] Sector Adamant 009
Official History from the nostropholo planet States.
The Nostropholo Planet States (NSP) began the great voyage into the bounce located in the middle of the map.
NSP Expanded in every direction.
The first contact was with the species called Andurian Imperium. A species who strove to remain alone. And to work out common boarders.
This of course was a lie. The Andurians strove to block the NSP from movement to the south. As they shared a common North West boarder. This Area of Space was left to the Andurians. Systems controlled by the NSP were colonized by the Andurians under the false pretence that the NSP were aggressivley blocking them in ( IT was unknown to us at that time the Andurians had exit points that were not on our boarders.) In return the NSP began mining the boarders between the Andurians and the NSP. And the NSP quickly expanded west to determine if the Andurians were indeed blocked out. The relationship feel apart as boarder wars erupted between the two empires.
Then when a formal war was about to be declared the NSP met the Tusken Overlord Government. A race who were open to trade and research. They were located below the Andurians and formed the South West boarder. The Tusken and NSP quickly became friendly trading partners.
They were informed of the Andurians and how they acted and the Tuskens showed the NSP the other exit points the Andurians controlled. One even spanned across the galaxy to the far Eastern side.
The NSP also expanded East and South.
On its North Eastern expansion it met the Gravey Clan. Trade was quickly established. Boarders were defined and a few miscommunications on colonization were worked out quickly before a conflict could begin. The Gravey were a quiet race who kept the peace with NSP.
In the East The NSP met with the Suezians. As trade was established it was noted that the Suezians and the Tusken were powerful trading partners. The Suezians were peaceful and trading was established as well as secure boarders.
To the South the NSP met the Gorzaak Horde. Tensions were present from the initial meeting. The NSP were not prepared to fight a two front war with the Andurians and the Gorzaak. But boarders were ignored by the Gorzaak and by the NSP. Tensions mounted. NSP seeked help from Suezians and Tusken that they would not interfer in a conflict between the Gorzaak and the NSP. Forces were built to deal with this new threat.
Lucky for the NSP its greatest weapon was X-17658B. This ambassador created the NSP-Gorzaak Peace Accords. Then NSP would give up a system and the Gorzaak would give up a system. Between them would be a shared system to promote peace between these systems. All mines would be destroyed. And the opposing fleets would be ordered to stand down and retreat. It was agreed upon and a new peace formed in the south. Treaties were established.
Now the only problem was the Andurian issue to the north. The NSP could now double its fleet size in the North West now and begin to reclaim their systems. The force was sent north. THE NSP Navy felt that the Gorzaak would betray the trust but X-17658B overruled the Navy and the war plans were drawn out for attacking the Andurians.
Then the Tusken struck. The Andurians were not prepaired for this attack as they were positioned to counter our attacks. The NSP needed to move quickly to gain back its lands.
Then the unthinkable happened. Revolution. Andurians replaced their government. It was a bloody battle. Funded by NSP intelligence the revolution took years but it occured.
Now the NSP had a choice. Destroy the Andurians with the Tusken or Regain what was lost and ask for peace.
To choose destruction was the easy path. But was it the correct one. X-17658B rose to the challenge. Regain what was lost. Take a little more and seek peace. And seek peace between Tusken and Andurian. The Tusken were large and Tusken boardering the North to the South was not seen as a good situation for the NSP. To keep a weak Andurian in the north was seen as a good counter to Tusken activites in the north.
The NSP quickly regained their lost planets and secured a front to take on the Andurians who were losing system after system to the Tusken.
Peace talks began. The Tusken would stand down and the Andurian would agree to peace with NSP and offer the Tusken its lands that were conquered and would not seek to strike back. The 3rd agreement was that who ever broke the peace would be at war with the NSP as well.
But the Tusken warlords were strong. And the Andurian pride could not be broken. The NSP showed Andurian its choices. Peace and survival or assimilation. The Andurian realised this and seeked peace. A military alliance was quickly formed.
The Tusken war lords were over ruled by civil service. A first in its history. This would eventually lead to revolution in the Tusken universe.
Unknown to us the Overlord sent his fleets on a suicide mission against the Gravey. They Overlord was over thrown and a new govn't was formed.
Would they honor the peace in the north. No. But the overlord has destroyed completely the relationship between the Gravey and the Tusken.
The NSP were now surrounded by two new powers. Times were tense. But the NSP seeked peace. As it is what one must do when completely surrounded.
Many months passed but peace was achieved in the east. Tusken and NSP almost went to war 2 times. The broken military alliance was reformed. And the Andurians were kept weak and the NSP kept watch.
Peace was achieved. The NSP expanded to over 500 planets and its focus became economy.
But out in the east the emperor of the Suezians
grew mad.
First they Banned religion within their own boarders then they decided to move the universe to destroy all religous types.
Suezians who were our strongest trading partner. started this right when the Tusken fleet would strike the Gravey.
The Tusken fleet that began its journey as a modern fleet but by the time it arrived. It was obsolete. The Gravey and the Suezians were now not on friendly terms. The Suezians also moved to destroy all empires relations with the Gorzaak. All of the NSP's work was being undone.
Then the Tusken fleet struck. And was destroyed. The Suezians stated that the religous types would band together and take over the universe.
So for this to become true the mad king forced the Gorzaak and Gravey to become partners. Now there was a common partnered empire on our east. With war to be waged in the middle. THE NSP would not come out of this one unscaved.
THey would have to choose sides.
Follow the mad king and tusken or help the Religous types. If the Gorzaak were the strong one then the choice would have been easy. But it was the Gravey who were powerful. They began to attack the Tusken and Suezians.
Suezians who called for war but did not prepair for war. Madness. Their people rebelled and its fleets were destroyed. Tusken whos people rebelled and fleets were destroyed. OTher empires feel as well but their path is not recorded by NSP.
The NSP released that the balance of power was shifting to the Gravey solely. They attacked and won every battle. But the NSP were not prepared. They could not fight the Gravey. They would loose. But perhaps sacrifice would give the waring empires time to restore the balance. Then peace could be achieved. Then the NSP would attempt to remove the madness in the east.
The Gorzaak were sent the coded message that we must help the tusken and Suezians. We could no longer trade with them and would declare war on them and the gravey. But when the time was right peace again. We also informed the Gorzaak that we would only attack down the spine in the middle. The Gorzaak responded that they understood.
Our forces were sent to be slaughterd by the Gravey so we could by time for the Suezians. Little did we know that the Suezians did not believe in troops on their planets. The time offered was wasted by the mad governement.
The Gravey would now have free reign to attack our systems as would Gorzaak.
We knew it was over. And that after the Suezians and tusken were destroyed the NSP would be next. 536 Planet strong. It could survive.
But only under the banner of the Gravey and Gorzaak. Survival was worth more than pride and the ramblings of a mad king and a dead overlord.
The message was sent to the Gravey and the Gorzaak. As well as to the Andurians, Tusken and Suezians.
THE NSP would survive. As a member of the Gravey and Gorzaak Alliance but it would survive.
THE END
Offical transcripts may be posted if I still have the turns saved.

Re: [AAR] Sector Adamant 009
Suezian history found on the occupied planets of the formerly glorious Suezian empire:
The Suezians quickly expanded across a large territory, many races where met and as was the Suezian way peaceful treaties where established with all neighbours.
The Gorzak horde in the southeast was a troublesome neighbour.
They repeatedly offended our diplomats, sent lengthy insults to our leaders.
It was decided that a strong fleet was needed and the construction of such was started.
The main goal of the Suezians was still peaceful development, and all 200+ planets where outfitted with atmospheric transformators for the glory of the empire.
In the south peace was established with the thrustworthy Graveys, or so we thought.
After seeing numerous intrusions by the Gorzaks even after our complaints to the Gorzak goverment we informed our neighbours that we where going to explore our surrounding regions and asked if there where any dissent to this, no objections was raised from our neighbours.
After the bold explorers where sent away and well into foreign territory the Gorzaaks and the Graveys started complaining and demanded that the ships be removed from their territory within a month, even though it had taken them several years to reach these positions, it was impossible.
Worried by the threat of a Religious fanatical takeover of the universe the Suezains attempted to unite all non religious races in the universe, and succeded.
But there was a problem, the Andurians and the Tuskens could not negotiate peace after the Tusken revolution.
The Suezians pleaded with the Tuskens and showed them the future if they did not concentrate their forces with the others, but they refused.
So when the Tuskens refused to end the war with the Andurians the Suezians called of the common attack by the allied 6 nations that had even had a set date, now long before the outbreak of any war, the Suezians knew they where doomed.
The Graveys in a mad frenzy destroyed the Suezian explorer in their territory and the coexistence in the Pi'Fullic system that was shared between the Graveys and the Suezians for a long time became strained.
Still the Suezians would not start a war on their own, they knew that against the dreaded Talisman they where doomed. A new treaty was negotiated.
The Nostropholeans devised a cunning plan to divide the Graveys and the Gorzaaks by sending misinformation to the both empires regarding the Suezians strength and purposes, the Suezians didn't understand this plan but accepted the Nostropholeans as friends, and trusted them.
The Nostropholean plan backfired and the Graveys and the Gorzaks united, both close neighbours of the Sueazians.
When the attack came it was expected, but nevertheless unstoppable.
Hundreds of enemy dreadnoughts and baseships equipped with talismans wiped out the equally numbered or superiorly numbered Suezian fleets without much own causalties.
The planets in the Sueazian empire revolted, many planets where burned and made into ash.
Still within all this carnage, planet after planet was terraformed to oxygenic atmosphere, a monument of Suezian achivement that was to become one of the few remaining signs of the empires existance, apart from the in then end enslaved Suezian population.
A single Suezian fleet with 60 warships escaped and entered Gravey territory. There they wreaked much havoc in an attempt to draw of Gravey fire from teh Suezian homeplanets. The mutual destruction was grotesque.
In the end the Gravey turned their attention to the other races in the galaxy and the victories of the Suezian fleet in the soft belly of the Gravey hometerritory caused the Suezian planets to stop their rioting, but then it was appearent to all that future resistance was futile.
Princess Ruatha was found dead in the Throne room, the circumstances surrounding her death where uncertain. The Sueazians surrended.
All races in the universe accepted defeat to the Graveys and the Gorzaak, the religious conVersion was prefarrably to certain genocide!
In all their history the Suezians always attempted to negotiate peace, they never started a war, but war was brought to them nevertheless. The universe is a harsh place for those seaking peace.

Re: [AAR] Sector Adamant 009
IN A.D. 2101 WAR WAS BEGINNING
just kidding
Historians tell us there were two separate revolutions in the Tusken government. The first came about as a result of a warlord grown weak with luxury and idle life. This formerly great warlord brought the Tusken Government to control the vast tracks of space it possessed, but lost interest in the way of government and eventually in the politics that kept him in power. It is believed he was called Preacher, he 'died in his sleep', and was replaced by a body of high-ranking aristocrats collectively referred to as Dreamplace.
As near as can be determined, the Dreamplace council was intimidated by the scope of the empire they had to control, and soon began making decisions of questionable merit. A conflict of unidentified and confused nature rose with the Andurians, and a fleet of warships was sent to Attack the powerful Gravey on the other side of the empire.
The Second Revolution came hard and fast to the Tusken people. The upper classes, the only Tusken aware of the outside world or the means of controlling an empire, were decimated in military, religious, and populist uprisings all around the empire, and most all knowledge of the past or of the relations with Tusken neighbors were lost.
Only three things were carried over: the treaties with other nations were maintained, the Andurians were not to be trusted and had placed mines in warp points separating Tusken systems, and a large fleet of Tusken ships had just glassed a Gravey world though the attack decimated the fleet itself.
A military coup in the north ramped up ship production and eventually led a fleet deep into Andurian territory, where they destroyed what they thought to be the Andurian Homeworld. The Nostropholeans and Seuizen protested the Andurian war incessantly, claiming obligations to which the new Tusken leadership (that fragment anyway) had never committed themselves. Eventually a peace with the Andurian people was negotiated, pending the delivery of a number of ships that did not arrive before the Tusken people found their doom.
In the south east a fragment of navy loyal to the old Tusken aristocrats found themselves wholly unprepared for the Gravey counter-attack. This war should never have been started.
The remains of the fleet that attacked the huge Gravey world were swiftly decimated by additional Gravey ships that arrived in-system within months. This began a long period of feint and lunge but the Tusken Navy in that area.
System after system were slowly given up to the Gravey over the course of several years. Often, once it was determined that the Gravey could not be resisted in a given system, all the Gravey would find were abandoned planets. All that might be left in a system would be cloaked recon satellites that remained for years afterward.
Intelligence operations were engaged against specific targets, troop ships, mine sweepers, lone warships. These operations were a great success, limiting the mobility of the Gravey fleets by denying them captured worlds on which to build Resupply Depots and removing their ability to move unharmed through numerous Tusken minefields.
Massive fleets were assembled, made of ships custom designed to deal with Talismanic ships. These fleets were trained to their max and were pulled back when the Gravey closed with them, tempting the Gravey to move further away from their supply lines and perhaps to engage the fleet in sectors that gave some advantage to the shieldless Tusken fleet.
In one case, the Tusken fleet was split into nine parts, each taking a different path to escape the Gravey aggressor. Only one of the sub-fleets was destroyed that month, and only one other was caught as it retreated. The survivors of this action would later join with larger fleets to win one only a few Tusken victories in this fight.
The victory, however, was short-lived. An additional Gravey fleet of greater size and mass was sighted on its way.
During this time, the Tusken worlds were thrown into disarray and riot. Only incredible efforts of construction saved them from ruin and, by extraordinary measures of troop distribution, every world was brought back to jubilation, save of course for those in a system with significant Gravey presence.
Occasionally a smaller fleet would be snuck through and around Gravey Fleet movements and strike at Gravey worlds. These fleets only met with minimal success, when they succeeded at all.
Eventually the Gravey began fielding ships with the fearful Quantum Reactor, sent fleets out with more than three times as many Mine Sweepers as necessary, and devoted enough Intelligence resources to countering Tusken operations that the Gravey fleets could no longer be held back.
Then came the decisions that decided the immediate fate of the Tusken people. A sector was chosen in which to stand and fight the Gravey fleet. The Gravey fleet engaged and utterly destroyed the Tusken defenders. The sector was poorly chosen.
Thinking that the asteroids in the given sector would completely disable Gravey shields, the Tusken Military Commanders failed to test their theory. The asteroids only barely decreased the strength of the shields, and the Gravey were unimpeded.
The Tusken Homeworld was destroyed and the economy fell to riot, again, and the military was only supported by scrapping huge amounts of infrastructure and whole fleets of lesser mothballed ships waiting for retrofit.
Using this funding a second fleet was prepared to face the Gravey and pulled back deeper into the mass of Tusken space. Another fleet was sent across the far side of the empire into the other side of the Gravey Empire, where it succeeded in destroying only a scant few planets.
The Five Races of the Tusken Empire were slowly burned off their planets, leaving behind pits of glass, ash, and salt where cities once stood.
The Military eventually realized that the ships they had assembled, that they were selling off their future to build would never be able to take down a single Gravey fleet. In the hopes that others could do greater things, they began giving ships to the Andurian and Nostropholean empires.
Many of the worlds of the once-Glorious Empire of the Peace-Loving Tusken People began to pull themselves out of riot and chaos and ships began being built again. It was theories that if the Gravey relented their attack for only five months the entire empire would be back on its feet. If they further relented for a year, a fleet could be assembled to face them. Based on this information, the Tusken People held on and perceived, building ships and giving them to the Nostropholean and Andurian peoples.
In the end it became clear that the Gravey fleets would never leave, and would only continue to burn Tusken worlds at the rate they could reach them. The Tusken people would only hold out for as long as hope did, and the Last delusions of hope died when the old allies and older enemies of the Tusken People announced that they would not be able to face the Gravey Threat.

Re: [AAR] Sector Adamant 009
Yeah, yeah, heres my papers. Im a master chief on the Borabath. Shes that free trader docked over there. Captain Kolnoth is my boss. Hes a Gravian, Gravan, whatever they call themselves. I just call him Captain. Some kind of retired war hero I guess, but I don't know much about that, my people aren't much for fighting. He can vouch for me if you see anything out of order there, or the XO if the Captains busy. Ive got a few hours off and Im going to get a drink over here if you dont mind.
Whats that? No, I dont suppose you would recognize my kind. I wouldnt doubt Im the only one of my race thats made it this far out. Ive been making my way from system to system on whatever rust bucket I can work passage on. Got to go where the money is I always say.
Well, Im a Rygkesh, it says so right there. No, Im not surprised you havent heard of us either. Oh, dont bother looking in your database there. I doubt anybody wasted any space on our poor little Federation in their grand histories. We barely made it out of our own homesystem. Probably never spread to more then 60 planets in our entire history.
We pretty much kept to ourselves. We were tucked way out there, you call it the eastern regions. Well away from all the goings on with the big boys. Never even fought any wars of note until the end. Thats probably why it all went downhill so quick.
We just didnt have the concept of what it took to build a decent combat vessel. Heck the Borabath is listed as a noncombatant and she could probably fight off a squadron of the best warships the Ryngkesh could have produced in their heyday.
No, we weren't much for fighting, thats for sure. Problem is we werent much for trading either. We pretty much just kept to ourselves, and the other races seemed to be ok with that. We traded with a few races close by. The Gorzaak, and the Tuskans, and later on the Suzians. But we never really got the impression that they cared much about our part of the quadrant.
What happened? Well, Ill tell you. The Borealis Empire went crazy. You may have heard about that. Decided that we couldnt be trusted or something. Started attacking our ships and colonies. Well, as weak as we were, even we could beat up on the Borealis.
So our leaders started getting a little uppity. Thought maybe we could play with the big boys. We started getting all sorts of patriotic garbage about defending the Federation from the zealots, and joining the Suzians and Tuskans in some grand alliance of peace. Seems to me though peace wasn't on anyone's mind really.
Thats when we made our big mistake and attacked a couple Gravey worlds in Borealis space. At least thats what we thought they were. Turns out it was all Gravey space that the Borealis were living in.
Anyway, as you might expect they didnt care much for us taking potshots at their backwater planets, so they stopped ignoring us. From what I hear it was less then a year after that the Gravey fleet entered our homesystem. Of course it took out a couple hundred of the Ryngkeshs finest on the way. Didnt even slow them down from what I hear.
Long before that though I saw what was coming and was long gone. Worked my way onto a Gorzaak transport and got as far away from there as I could.
Why did I leave? I told you. Im a Ryngkesh. We arent much for fighting.
