LOL, Bad wording on my part....
Better close this window, the actual father is looking at me with contempt only a cat can manage and is currently decimating the scratching post.

Bump for the loss of one of my cats, Sea, who died in a tractor accident a week ago. Before you ask, he was run over by my dad who was driving a tractor...I guess the idea of big tire crushing fragile skull just didn't occur to him.

Not sure it applies but cats on a farm are usually good sense. They're more of useful animal instead of a pet (though that doesn't mean people don't get attached to them). Cats in a more domestic setting (which is what I'm used to) have a bad habit of crawiling under the car in the driveway or near the motor when they are left outside and its cold. Cats just "get in the way" sometimes and require an "extra eye".
I no longer let my cats go outside (and haven't done so for over 20 years).
Sorry to hear of your loss. Nice name, BTW. Unique.
