Re: Panther the Proxy
Hey jeffr, now's your chance! Surely you've got at least one mage stashed somewhere, right?
Chris, this turn you got more provinces than you lost, so it's all according to your plan. My jaw always drops when I see the armies you field: it's riveting, trying to think up a way to deal with them! So far, no luck. Maybe I'll get you to split them up someday.
The Fire Kings aren't worth the cost, in my opinion. What sort of gear should one put on them?

Re: Panther the Proxy
I love the names of your Air and Water Queens, Jurri. "Ulmbane" and what was the other one? "ChrisMustDie the Queen of Air?" Heheh..

Ulm Must Die!
That's just so I remember what they are doing The turns are rather complicated at this point for my scatterbrain, you know.
That heroic centaur is one mean commando, btw. I wish him a long and fruitful life! I'd even send him stuff if he had a lab to arm himself with, but guess not.

Ich bin back!
I'm back!
Wyoming was very nice, but it's great to return to sea level.

Re: Ich bin back!
A new turn; it's right back to 'work' for Pasha
I'm still sore from the high magus merc magic dueling my golem way back when, so these recent successes are really soothing What I find disturbing is how much better your incinerators are at picking the correct targets than my soul slayers I'm speaking about Ghost Riders of course; for the slayer there are 33 wrong targets and 1 good target per casting, still the same thing happens as with the mech men earlier: if there's a mindless thing in the same square as the proper target, the spell will invariably target the mindless thing to no effect. On the other hand the incinerators have 34 targets that ought to be somewhat equal, yet they still pick the leader to burn first. Annoying!
...but I don't mind, this last turn was immensely fun to do, and even though most my plans failed enough got through that I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel! Chris will probably just scoff at my little successes with his overpowering might, but these are important for my fighting morale.

Um....
I still feel pretty powerful in this game, but it's clear that Jurri is going to win. His gem income is just not going away, and that's all there is to it, basically. My strength will be eroded over time and his will build. And, it's not like I'm even winning now, against him. I'll give you guys the numbers as far as provinces I took v. provinces I lost this past turn later, but I'll tell you it's not a pretty sight. Something like 1:10?
It's going to be a long, slow process, but there really isn't much hope of defeating Jurri at this point, it doesn't seem.

Doom Weapon
Bah! I am currently working on a secret DOOM WEAPON like you guys have never seen. It will blow you both out of the water in 2.4332 turns so that it will leave Boron, Jeff and me to duke it out for final victory.
Now... where did I put that secret doom weapon mail order kit. Maybe the Shedu is sitting on it. Stand up, Big Guy, and stop licking my face... here... go fetch the tennis ball... it's over there... THERE... NO! OVER - THERE... ugh! Stupid, dumb shedu...

Re: Doom Weapon
Hey Pasha, don't you come foul our whinefest! What would me and Chris, the two biggest pussies around, do if you bashed us both? I'm sure no one's eyes or ears could take the resulting wailing (Indeed, I wonder why all we do is talk anti-smack...)

Re: Doom Weapon
Y'all should hurry up and kill each other so I can get in on a new game. I've been playing against the AI lately, which is bad for three reasons:
When you win it's easy and unsatisfying
When you lose it's embarrassing and unsatisfying
When you finish your turn it's a matter of seconds before the next turn is ready, which means I get very little work done during the day.
Please, help me!
I think I might like to try Arcoscephale; I also think I might like to play a game in which I clobber Jurri.
