Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Yeah, I think my hatred of that wraithlord has made me a bit irrational towards him. That was a waste of a good S mage.
I'm interested in seeing your new type of army. Actually, I think your old type of armies are doing just fine.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Hehe.. 2 new types actually. But both will be variations on the same theme.
If you hate the Dark Knight that much I guess its a good thing your not in Carcrash because ive got about 4 of them just like him in that game with 2 more in the works. hehe.. Of course our buddy Arco (Pelthin) started subbing in Carcrash and went and cast Astral Corruption so now he might be meeting them first hand if I dont dispel his AC. I actually dont think he has ever seen the Dark Knight in this game so Carcrash might be his first glimps of him (or one of his many clones anyways). Of course that's assumming I can push my dominion into his lands, but Ive got a few juggernauts for things like that. The O'l boys may not be much of an offensive weapon but they sure make pretty terrifyingly powerful defenders, I'm not even sure how many of the elemental royalty Ive killed with them.

You guys are teaching me way too much in how to get my butt kicked.
If I never play Arco again it will be too soon. Jsut not a nation I seem to understand well.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Hmm. You seem to be taking my castles at an alarming clip Psi. So much for Solar Brilliance... that spell sucks. Though you do have a bunch of blind undead now, and a nice Tart that I think is dead now. Don't really know what happened to her after I mind controlled her, but she did lose a few minor artis. My computer is too slow to watch the whole battle.
I'll tell you what Psi. If you can take my cap, I will concede the game. It seems to be what you are after anyway. Until then, I will fight.

I have a second line of defense and have bulked up some troops, but man these undead are impossible to beat when they get rolling.

To tell the truth, I dont even know where your Capital is, Either of your capitals. But I take it from your comment that I'm getting closer.
It seems from the name of my capital that the Home province's in this game dont have names that even reflect their nation I know my home capital has some name that doesnt indicate it is my capital and I'd assume yours does as well. Although to be honest I havent even looked and just assume that your capital's name is like mine.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Ya know, I'd actually kinda like to try an All age game where it is nothing but Death specialization nations like Ermor, Ctis, maybe LA Ulm, Atlantis or Agartha.
That might would be pretty cool. Find out which is really the best undead nation hehe. Personaly I might would be inclined to put money on MA Ermor over LA Ermor.. But then I havent really played LA Ermor either..

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
I've played two all ages games, the two Megagames with all nations, Kingmaker was the last one, can't remember the name of the first one. LA Ermor seems to do the best.
And yeah, on this map, my cap has an inconspicuous name. And I have no idea where yours is either, though I am sure looking around Hell, I've probably already been in there, and didn't even realize it was your cap.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Amusingly enough, it kinda looks like I might have to start disbanding some of my undead in a province or two. I'm reanimating them faster than I can get bane's to lead them to attack and so I cant access some of the other troops like Fall bears and stuff that my commanders have summoned because they are not even visible on the row of garrisoned troops that I can see until I get rid of more of the undead there.
I was getting them off the garrison row by putting them under the command of the Thaumaturgs doing the reanimating but now Ive filled up all of their army slots as well and have nowhere else to put them haha.
