Heh glad to hear it
I guess Maybe that's why I havent cast Utterdark since that would more or less be an "I WIN" spell for me right now I'm having too much fun as things are. Although if I thought you would hang in there either way I might be tempted to cast it lol.

Yeah, Utterdark is a wimp-out spell, and you've got all the other good globals anyway. I'm having fun too, so I wouldn't cast it unless by some strange fate I start over-running you.

You might need to click the resend turn file on the llamaserver page for this game. I had to do so to get my turn.

Vengeance of the Dead eh? Yeah, that's the spell to cast. My guy was able to resist it though. Funny... I didn't even equip him to resist it. Good luck for me I guess... but I will rectify that in the future.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Hmmm Well eventually it will get through seeing as how I'm using a lot of penetration gear and I can continue to add more casters every turn. It will take a little while to build up since Ive gotta forge immunity gear for your domes blasting them.
All I need is a few good rolls while you get a few bad ones. And with enough caster's its only a matter of time.
In hind site maybe I should have waited until I had about 8 or 10 mage's ready to cast it and then hit you with it so you wouldnt have time to bump up his MR.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Lord, what a horrible turn for me. And I actually spent some time on that one... heh, I think I do better on the ones I just whip up quickly.
You VoTD'd the wrong Arch Devil, btw, Psi. I pulled a switcheroo on you. Still, I need them all, so well done. Wow, I lost so much that turn, so many good commanders and artifacts. I'm not sure I can recover from it.
I'll give it a shot though Hell, I don't think I could do any worse than that turn.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Yeah that was a pretty good turn for me. I still havent finished going over everything but I see I wiped out your army in Lower Timark which is a major victory as far as I'm concerned on top of the 3 commanders I killed with VOD.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
I guess I'll summon the King of Elemental Earth now.. Although to be perfectly honest I really dont see the value of him. I mean I have Tartarain spirits that are a lot better. Most of them have almost the same ammount of Earth magic and a lot more Hp's and more regen and the same item slots. It would seem about the only thing the Earth king has going for him is the fact that he's not insane and can summon allies. But as far as combat goes Ive got a lot better commanders as Arco is about to see. Try Tartarain spirits with 75 hp regen per turn on for size for one thing. makes the 13 hp regen of the earth king look pretty pathetic.
I'm pretty confused though... with all my Bane's equipped with Visions foe they are supposed to be targeting large enemy monsters but yet they all seem to be shooting and the stupid skinshifters and ignoring your tartarains and earth kings and such.. I just dont get that... Your Big units should have died quickly in the battle in Lower Timark but yet my Banes just dont seem to want to shoot at them..
It kinda didnt make sense that my Tarrasque's kept wanting to fire at your poison immune earth king instead of some of the more susceptible units too which was annoying
