Re: Star Trek, Quadrants of Conflict
You can of course take another aproach inti:
Let those 8472 borg and dominions keep their large or whatsoever planets and asign them a planet nearby with some technology on them in forms of ruins. So they got some advance in front of all others. That solves of couse not he borg trait of not being capable of getting ressources...

Re: Star Trek, Quadrants of Conflict
No, The Dominion and 8472 are not only more advanced but they have huge empires of their own.
The Dominion occupies a large part of the Gamma-quadrant. And 8472 even have their own Dimension.
So to simulate that they start with larger planets than the Alpha quadrant-majors.
But there are a lot of Alpha-quadrant-majors, so if 2 or 3 of them work together they can withstand at least one of them (8472/Borg/Dominion)

Re: Star Trek, Quadrants of Conflict
2 Intimidator: Ktarians are not listed as availiable race on pbw game description page. So could you please update it to allow people to see that where is one more free slot for neutral race.
2 BlackRose: some people (and I'm too) are very tired of STM patching frenzy. IMHO, it would be better not to hurry with the new quick fix, but spend a mounth making rock stable patch without serious bugs.
Thanx.

The truth of this does hurt deep, but I have to agree. The frequency of the patches has done more harm than good. Never the less the mod is where it is at now because I took the time to make the changes and get them out. Look to other mods and see where they are compared to this mod.
I hate having to release another patch so soon when I had no intention of releasing one for many months. However fait is an evil step mother and she delt me a nasty blow. That being said I am sincerely sorry about all the patches for the mod, and I am sure that if I had not been involved with the project that perhaps it would have been a better mod.
Never the less what is done is done and all I can do is continue fixing, tweaking, and such.
To be honest each time I put out a patch it was because I felt sure the patch was solid. Murphies law, my own stupidity, and just plain bad luck always seems to play into it though and the Last patch is never the Last patch. But with each patch the mod has improved.
I could have kept the mod under wraps and never released it until this Version (172) but that would have been nearly a year long delay. We had already been waiting a year for the mod. So if I have to be shot, at least I deserve a cigar for my efforts and not some cheap one either.

(I will control those 2 empire until taken over, my own race, The Romulans will not interfere with them in the early game. So I can control those 2 empires for a short while. If somebody doesn't agree, let me know and it's off. But I think it's a better idea than let them controlled by AI)

Re: Star Trek, Quadrants of Conflict
I'm interested in running the Nausicans. I have just downloaded the mod and am getting the components images.
Edit. Ok the mods set up, and the new images work. I am ready if you are prepared to let me join.

Re: Star Trek, Quadrants of Conflict
Hi everybody!
Please note that i will soon post a revised shipset for the federation. I discovered some missing pictures in my first one so i corrected them. please feel free to get the correct image of the federation. At least you should remember a cool vessel blowing you out of this continuum...
A question: Is trade disruption the correct intel project? We wanted that project where you "intercept" the trade of a foreign state and put it to your own stock. O is this ressource procurement??
