Dear Devnull Bis4 diary

Well things have cooled down it was nothing more than a runaway AI. As the game goes on using a Fryon's quadrant map I am noticing a pleasant surprise. The Fryon's Map mod with it's many asteroids and extra planets and moons takes the edge off the must expand syndrome. I am limited to about 10 or so systems for various reasons black holes, other races, nebula's ETC. but I have never lacked for resources. As in this game everyone is fairly experienced and willing to cooperate until they think they have the advantage it gives everyone a chance to build large fleets and extensive defenses. There are no close neighbors that I have any desire to provoke as they seem to be friendly.This my be like another game I am in and Last for 2 years or so I am in no hurry as I have found out a mature game with extensive role playing is quite fun.

I am sorry I neglected you for so long. The ebb and flow of the game continues unabated. The Empire to the south once again was taken over by the computers. Those folks really need to tame their robots. I kind of wonder if having the AI do your turn can help. The few times that I have had that happen to me have had good results. In this game I had several colonies smashed and I lost a couple of ships. No where near the damage inflicted on the revolting empire. Hmmm is this the start of a new tactic? Let the AI run your Empire for a turn and then apologize and reestablish a treaty. Well the third time this happens I think I will just continue the war. And speaking of war and conflict you can just feel the forces of evil stirring in the great beyond and the forces of good rising to meet them. (why is it that the other guy is evil and you are not?) At any rate due to trades and what not I am in a very good position in this contest. More later....

Well well well
What a game this is turning out to be. Factions factions everywhere the eye can see. It appears the holy joes may get a new lease on life and does it pay to be the Empire in the Middle? And a general question should leagues be formed where players of similar experience should tend to play players of similar experence? Well War has broke out in the galaxy and it looks like there is no stopping it. Like that's not what we are all playing for but Devnull mod is a very interesting mod to play in. I sure hope I can compete.

Chaos reigns supreme throughout the galaxy. The Greens are at war with the rest of the galaxy. But The Union of great space empires are fighting wars within wars. Hardly anyone in the Union are talking to each other. The Greens are putting up a united front. Great battles are being fought the Fate of the Galaxy will turn and turn once again. Both sides have burning planets Who can Last the longest? A great confrence of the Union must be called. A mighty leader must arise. To unite aganist the Evil Green menace.
