Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
Agreed. I didn't imagine TC was so powered but the "stats on" bug showed that I was wrong. Also, after the stats, I don't think Bogarus + Jomon can deal with R'lyeh in any way. Overwhelming army, superior gold, gem income & magic... Well
I'm playing the turns only as experiments, nothing more. But frankly speaking, I think a new LA game will be more interesting now

Yes, I think its time to close the curtain on this game. New LA game with 3.21 enhanced cheat detection (based on this game ) sounds much better than endless turns of battling the hordes of TC. It has lost the point even as an experiment since the conclusions have been reached already

I'll vote for death as well. Those stats were pretty gruesome.

Due to the work that finishing all of you off would entail, I also agree to ending this game. I like this group and would like to have a rematch. I won't play LA Rylah though. They're too much work to have a enjoyable time.

Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
Huh, have we been playing the game for half a year just to abandon it?
Every nation still has a chance to win.
Yes, TC is a trouble, but it's beatable. Stats show that TC army is same with mine — and I have only 150 units and 7 commanders. Yes, gem income is stunning, but half of this income = clams on researches — some falling foo and they're gone. The other half comes from provinces, which could be easily taken with any raiding spell.
I think you just pay too much attention to the game. It takes me 20 minutes to make a turn, and it's worth the time. I'd vote for 24h hosting — instead of abandoning the game we can finish it in a quick step and the story would be completed (:

Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
Okay, I will soldier on, in the intrest of the troop limits you guys should ship me some goblets so I can drown troops quicker. I tell you its not fun to have about 500-800 troops in each southern province. My turn reports are very long and filled with starving provinces.

I don't know about stats but you should know that even one of the single armies of TC attacking me is twice the size you mentioned for all TC armies. And my scouts report many huge TC armies on the move.
As for raiding, I have raided TC very hard with anything between 6-10 Tartarians, Rudras and Kinara SCs -- and have ended up losing all my raiders. If its not frozen heart spam, then its the odd huge army with buffs, or a line of life drainers, but in the end something does them.
I'd be much happier if we were *all* fighting TC and bringing him down. Then the game would make sense and be open but as it is I find it pointless. That said, I could give it a few more turns (though I don't think it would change much). I think you would reach the same conclusion in a few turns, but I guess we could wait some more and see how things turn out.
I've got to say that at some point it seems ridiculous to me fight an "adventure" scripted monster AI in an MP game. In SP it would have been fun but in MP, under these conditions???- It more or less stinks.

Re: LA Game - Victoria - Running
Why don't you post the location of TC's capitol? I vow to throw some hate at it. In fact lets all do this. I bet that if we shut their production down it will be not such a problem.
