Re: Atrocities Star Trek Mod (Update v1.9)
NOTE: If you have not already dowloaded the full Version of the AST mod you must do so in order for this patch to work. This patch is NOT the mod.
Here is the latest patch v 1.9.1
Here, if you have already installed the 1.9 patch and don't want to download the 1.9.1 patch just copy this file into your AST mod directory. Click yes to overwrite. (Replaces the Component.txt)

Re: Atrocities Star Trek Mod (Update v1.9)
Uh, no. I didn't see anywhere where it said I needed 1.8.
I did read the readme and it wanted me to download several different files, planets, components and such.
What exactly do I need to download? Just the 1.8 and the new 1.9.1?
Thank you for your quick reply and hard work. From what little I saw, it is an awsome mod.

Re: Atrocities Star Trek Mod (Update v1.9)
A little question. If I DL the 1.8 Version and the 1.9.1 patch, will it run correctly? Won't I need any other program? I ask this because you mentioned the IF Quadrant Mod and the Image Pack.

Re: Atrocities Star Trek Mod (Update v1.9)
The full mod has all the information hence its size of 33 megs.
I will need to revise that read-me. I appologize for it as I should have done that this time around.
The next patch 1.9.2 will have it revised.
ALL YOU NEED now to run the AST mod is the AST Mod 1.8 (33 megs) and then update it with the 1.9.1 patch.
Look in the Modinfo Folder under the Revision History to read about the patch. Or click HERE

Re: Atrocities Star Trek Mod (Update v1.9)
Installed new file. Loads up fine, looks GREAT!! My computer did lock up on me while exploring all the races in an all tech, all major races test run, just to look at things. Of course the lock up could be any number of non game related things... good ol' Windoze. I also got one error message while running through the races but I neglected to make a note of what exactly it was and it didn't seem to stop anything. Again, it looks wonderful.

Re: Atrocities Star Trek Mod (Update v1.9)
Hi, I got the point defense cannon error again.
I get this.
Unknown value "Ftr\Trp\Drone\Sat" for vehicle type in record "Point - Defense Cannons 1"
In the components.txt file.
I get that for all six entries. Last time I corrected it, I changed it to match this in the original component.txt file.
Ship\Base\Sat\WeapPlat\Drone
Once I change it, it loads fine. Should I keep the change?
The cloaking error didn't show up.

Re: Atrocities Star Trek Mod (Update v1.9)
Hi,
Another bug report.
Your new race the Vaadwar, gets an error with thier technology during thier turn. There are a dozen places in Vaadwar AI research where it errors on "General Technology", when I replace it with "General Race Technology" the error goes away.

Re: Atrocities Star Trek Mod (Update v1.9)
Thanks guys, I play tested the Vaadwaur but when I set up the patch I neglected to change the name in the Reseach.txt document to the name that the Offical mod uses. My bad, and thanks for the catch.
Ebonyknight, I updated the PDC I - IV and fixed the error. I have play tested the mod now most of the day and have gotten no errors for the PDC's.
I checked all of the 1.9.1 PDC entryies and they all have:
Vehicle Type := Ship\Base\Sat\WeapPlat\Drone
I would keep the new ones you copied over. If they work, then by all means keep em .
I will be posting the newest patch ,1.9.2 in just a few minutes.
I have updated a few things in the mod, aside from fixing the Vaadwaur error.
Thanks again for the bug reports guys, they are very very very helpful to me.
