I'm in the same boat as Tesco, rain with 100% cloud cover . I wished it had happened Last night, it was a nice and almost full moon directly in front of my apartment window.

Even with full eclipse, Moon is still visiable, but it is bloody red (refraction of light in Earth atmosphere before reflection from Moon surface). Too bad it was raining here
