Stand Alone Mod means that the mod is self contained and can run without copying over of files. I know that most mods are this way, but some have modified files. In that way I guess the TDM is not a SAM, but a mod that alters the the Race AI to use new components and facilities would be.

Because you can not take a NON Modded race with AI and put it into a SAM mod and have it work without errors.

Actually, AI Campaign should be in the same bracket as Proportions, IMHO.

Agreed.
In the AI Improvement Category but with a note or Asterisk that Proportions is the Parent Host.

But Oleg, there are changes added every couple of weeks to AI Campaign as the AIC Mod grows, before long it will transform into something further remote from Proportions altogether . Right now it�s a cross between Proportions 2.52 and Base se4, with a lot of new and or different innovations from the Players; Constantly being added.

So it may be best the way Atrocities has it, now.

But, with this said. AI Campaign would have never been Modeled; if it were not for PvK and Proportions.

I don't know what Atrocities spelled "and" as originally, but maybe it should officially be "Pirates 'n' Nomads"! More of a rustic feel, y'know?

No no no. It is a good idea. What I said was redundant is the name Fyron's FQM. It is saying Fyron's twice in a row. The mod listing scheme isn't redundant.

Well, then using these categories Devnull Mod Gold (which wasn't mentioned earlier, *Rollo uses rolled up newspaper to twack Atrocities over the head. ) would fall into the following categories:

* game altering, stand-alone Mod
* comes with AI
* doesn't require image mod. But if you do have the image mod, you can delete the additional graphics in .../pictures/combat, .../pictures/components, and .../pictures/planets that come with DNM to save disk space.

No, it's not. He's trying to make sure you know that it's the Fyron's Quadrant Mod done by Fyron. You know how trendy it is to do a Fyron's Quadrant Mod these days--why, just yesterday, I found an Atrocities' FQM, an SJFQM, a Ruatha FQM, a Puke FQM, and the standard Fyron's FQM.

Just shamelessly padding for that promotion to "Captain Krsqk." Hmmm, sounds like a Star Trek parody.
