I am posting this here because I can't seem to find a satisfactory answer anywhere else and for every off topic question asked SOMEONE here has an answer. (cause this is where the smart people hang out I guess...

).
BearShare, a 'napster-like' program, just freshly installed by my wife on our brand new computer, everything has been working fine for a week now. Then this thing has been installed and I can't seem to get Diablo II (yes I know...it's Diablo but for some reason I like it right now

) to stop spitting out 'Your connection has been interrupted' almost everytime I play. As well as the game having HUGE lag times and the action freezing up to the point where I click on something and a few seconds later I finally pick it up.
I have always been leary of a program that lets people download stuff off of my computer...seems a little scary. Is this 'BearShare' program my problem with Diablo???(Cable internet, should not be that slow or buggy) or am I just paranoid?? Anyone else have horror stories about this share program or is it really harmless?
All I know is that someone here will have an answer!
