Re: Doom Horrors
Well, I've only met Kurgi and Umor in real mp games (I've seen them all in test games). And I don't like any of them. I guess Umor is the most powerful though.

Re: Doom Horrors
I'm going with Rarku. He's not the most dangerous, by a long shot, but I'm a sucker for a pretty face. Hruver is a close second, Mr. Congeniality I suppose.

Re: Doom Horrors
I've yet to see any of them, and I've played steadily since the original Dominions. I must be doing something wrong.

Re: Doom Horrors
You don't usually see them. There used to be a bug which made the Hunter of Heroes attack all the time, but I don't think I've seen them in-game after that. You need severe horror mark to get them, and/or that horror-calling global (Astral Corruption?), and horror-summoning spells too for good measure. Or Wish, but then they might just eat your wish-caster.

Re: Doom Horrors
With AC up, the Hunter of Heroes seems to go after HoF heroes with more than 300 kills. The others are more likely to show if AC is up and you spend about something more than 100 gems on a non-blood ritual.

Re: Doom Horrors
I had Hunter of Heroes attack my HoF pretender that had between 100 and 150 kills, no AC up. Abomination of Desolation visited him too few turns earlier.
