Re: Unrest Generating Sites
I am guessing it must be the Devil's Den - that is the only one that generates 15 unrest a turn (all the others are 10 or less unrest) and I took it on turn 20 when it had 297 unrest.

Yea, its probably devils den, blood mage enters for 1 devil per month. Had it once in MP myself, it was on nearly 400 unrest when I found it!

Re: Unrest Generating Sites
Isn't there a fire site that causes unrest? I'm remembering (possibly misremembering) from a SP game long ago...

LOL.
But really, it was probably pillaged. If not pillaged, then it's from an event like Villains or Monster Boar that you forgot about. If not from an event, it's from someone setting taxes to 200 and leaving it there.

Four lairs cause more unrest than one den.

Re: Unrest Generating Sites
4 lairs - good god. I never considered the possibility of more than one unrest generating site in the same province. What ever is there must have been generating ~15 unrest per turn to get to 297 by turn 20. Although some of that unrest may have been caused by the battle with indies to win the province. Curiosity is killing me.

Re: Unrest Generating Sites
Also possible is that it was hit with the Monster Boar event (or similar) early on as an indy.
If it is the Devil's Den, then too bad it's not Kingmaker...I've got a hilarious picture in my head of a frustrated Mephistopheles surrounded by blind werewolves, none of whom can legally witness the signing of the blood-contract...

Re: Unrest Generating Sites
Picture instead some 20/20 vision theurgs running around a rebellious province, sensing the infernal presence, but unable to do anything about it. This then leads to a secret Black Ops operation where an elite Theurg is selected from the monastery, empowered in blood magic in an unholy rite, and sent in to infilitrate this unholy bastion of power. Thus Pythium strays from its holy ways...and in a few turns we will know what lies in Khabaz Caverns. Mwahaha!!!
