If yor ship(s) were combat- worthy you could go into battle for an ally in exchange for planets/ colonisers. Alternatively you could blockade worlds and refuse to leave until you were given a planet.

Also, don't forget that AIs will happily trade you a coloniser in exchange for any 2 ships.

For one thing, the Nomads in my mod don't require planets to survive. With a fleet of robominers, and space yard ships, you can be a powerful force indeed, while having zero planets.

Hey SJ, that is a darn good idea about the Palace Ability. You should E-mail MM about this idea if you haven't already. Assuming they are even taking requests for added features.
