WB - If you are in the Map Editor it saves your work automatically at set intervals as well. It might be doing it quite often too because my screen seems to always be flashing that message in the lower left corner!
Dankie, Double deuce

I didn't know that. I'm going to check and see if that Malaya map is still there.

As long as that was the last map you worked on in the map editor I would think it would be there.

THanks Andy. It had to be my mistake. Nothing with the game. I think, but I'm not sure, that I became distracted for a moment at the end, closed the editor without saving, then reopened it and saved the file.

That is the only thing I could think of...only those who have done such a dumb thing after over 20 hours of work can know how absolutely stupid I feel.

Oh, well! Take a lesson, lads. Save carefully!

When the patch comes out you will now get the scenario save file menu put in right front of you on pressing the EXIT button in the scenario editor, to give you that final last chance to save .

(I too have been caught by the EXIT button on the scenario editor unceremoniously dumping you out to the main screen.)!

Cheers
Andy
