Keep in mind that the HW loss is a one-time anger rise. Troops are a constant per-turn decrease in anger levels.

Re: Happiness question
Not brown nosing here Fyron, I am calling it like it is, you have the BEST happiness file in your Adamant MOD,---> by far...
Everyone interested in Moding should take a peak at that file.
This file is also great for Role Playing

Re: Happiness question
It is indeed the best, but I did not make it. I apparently forgot to write down who did.
I am thinking Krsqk... or maybe Jourin... or someone...

Re: Happiness question
No, happiness is tied to the planet, not the population. Everyone added to any planet will have the same happiness.
The solution to happiness problems is Troops and Urban Pacification Centers (or Fate Shrines, or Medical Facilities, or Temporal Vacation Service). That and "Stop losing so much!"
'The people' are merciless judges.

Re: Happiness question
It does not matter. A ship is a ship. They can be (nearly) empty hulls for all SE4's happiness routines care.

This is true. More empty escorts add more happiness than a one big bad dreadnought.
In a recent PBW game, my whole home system rioted (except for homeworlds, nach) and a few wins by a few battleships didn't help -- I needed troops.
