Arco, are you there? You were about to stale, so I postponed hosting for an hour.

So, how goes the world for all the other nations in the game?
I am pleased to note that Ermor is experiencing an economic and cultural renaissance, fuelled by a surplus of undead labour.

War is a-brewin' with Marignon. It got to the point where I had to either turtle or expand, so I had to break our peace (with five turns notice, of course... I respect my treaties).
If anyone happens to be on their flank, now would be a good time to attack them.

With all that witch burning and suchlike, Marignon is clearly the main cause of global warming in this game. Taken together with their refusal to use an acceptable renewable source of energy (e.g. vast hordes of undead) despite the example of some of their neighbors, and we have no choice but to declare our interest in helping to horribly murder them. In a spirit of friendship and cooperation, of course - it is clearly in the long term best interest of the people of Marignon to be stabbed to death and then raised again as zombies.

Hey I am away for two days and will likely need an extension to make sure I don't miss a turn. I just sent in this turn and if the timer is 48h like I think I should be fine with just a 24h extension, hopefully I will get back in time but I don't want to stale out if I don't.

Ok, I'll extend it by 24 hours.

Well, if fighting Agartha's main army was like a near death experience involving getting kicked in the teeth by an angry horse and then run over by a tractor, fighting Marignon's turned out to be more like getting gently spanked with a wet lettuce by an elderly matron whilst drinking tea and discussing the weather.
As a consequence, I think it is fair to say that the unjust invasion of peace loving Ermor by the brutal witch burning bigots of Marignon has been successfully repulsed. Now for the counter attack! And possibly some more tea and wet lettuce. Mmmmm, lettuce.
(If I get time, I will post an account of the actual battle.)

Well, that was an interesting three months. My predecessor was involved in a two-front war -.- But the great nation of Arcoscephale is no stranger to in-fighting! We shall soon be victorious against those ascetic (or is it asiatic?) monkeys! But towards the barbarous empire of the east, perhaps we can work out a deal...
Or maybe not. I mean, really, five elements?! There's obviously only four! Well, unless you count the ether...
I'll return once I consult with my sages. It's tough being a philosopher-king.
