In a dozen mp games I've only bought Mercs once for a forging need. Overlooking mercs is certainly a weak spot in my game... I can see the dividends for early expansion.

Re: Blood and Booze - (Running)
Sorry for the stales and half finished turns.
I just don't have the time to do these long games.
I always hated it when someone just didn't plan on doing long turns in advance but it seems I'm in that position now. It's just crazy at work for the foreseeable future and I just can't manage it.
Please pause, and I'll make a post to look for a sub.

Re: Blood and Booze - (Running)
Unless i hear some objections, i'm going to listen to Bwaha's suggestion and switch the game to 48h with quickhost off sometime during the weekend.

Re: Blood and Booze - (Running)
Hello Everyone
I have taken over control of Mictlan from GFSnl. So please can you send all diplomatic messages concerning Mictlan to me from now on. I have only just had my forum account activated (or I would have posted here earlier), and I have turned on the "use PM system" option, so I should be able to receive PM's. If it doesn't work though, then I can be contacted on the Dom3mods forum.
I have sent in the current turn for Mictlan (several hours ago actually), and also sent an in-game message to all nations informing them of Mictlan's change of ruler, and several other in-game messages to nations I have been told (by GFSnl) that have current diplomatic agreements with Mictlan. But if you do not get an in-game message from Mictlan this coming turn (besides the general message I sent to everyone), then I am not aware of any diplomatic agreement between Mictlan and your nation. As such please don't blame me later if I inadvertantly break an agreement I didn't know existed.
And I hope I can make a good enough show of myself in a game that looks as if a lot of nations are fairly evenly matched.

Okay we have the replacement. Can we get this in motion?

Re: Blood and Booze - (Running)
Welcome to the game Bennett. I'm unpausing the game - if i don't screw up it should host on Friday and then we're back to regular 48h schedule.
