Polikarpov I-15 photos, icon 491

The photos show an I-152, otherwise known as an I-15 bis. The I-15 was an older type that probably saw little or no action according to most books on Soviet aircraft. Be that as it may, the photos show the I-152 / I-15 bis.

I see the learning curve is going to be steep

The I-15 is used by five nations OOB's and Icon 491 is used by 2 units in the Russian OOB but I have ASSUMED you were referring to Russian unit 213 which now shows a photo of the "correct" gulled wing of the early version and UNIT 214 which shows ( just barely...) the straight wing of the later version now reports being a "I-15bis"

In the future PLEASE remember that telling me a units name and icon # is only rarely helpful when the discussion revolves around a specific UNIT in an OOB

I have been giving you a hard time, which I regret. I have bee working from the encyclopaedia's list of units. Presumably you want me to find a unit within a specific scenario? I am fairly new to your website. Be gentle with me!

NOT "scenario" unit number--------- unit number as listed in MOBHack

The encyclopedia in the game does not include Unit numbers as it is ( normally ) irrelevant to the info people are looking for in the encyclopedia.

Use MOBHack to look up things like this as it is the OOB editor and where things like this are adjusted -------or you can cross-reference the game encyclopedia with MOBHack but MOBHack is the editing tool and the OOB unit number the only way to know for sure what unit in the game you are referring to

Go to the Utilities tab of Game Options and click on "MOBHack OOB editor" all the info including the unit number and access to the text is there as well it has a "FIND" feature that allows you to enter the unit name you are looking for. In the example here entering "I-15" while in MOBHack will first bring you to unit 213 then 214 then the I-153 in 215

Additionally setting " Show ID numbers" to Yes in the misc tab will show the OOB unit number in the purchase screen
