As Suhiir posted here, the experience level of the Blowpipe team should be increased significantly as well.

A bit off-topic, but in WINSP are targets moving ACROSS the firing unit's LOS more difficult to hit than those moving directly towards or away from them? My impression was that target size. speed and elevation were the prime variables. Thanks.

Re: Question on infantry SAMs
Target aspect has no effect in these rules, only range at point of firing. Cannot think of any rule set that had any such calculation (tabletop or cardboard shuffling) bar some air-air game of the 70s where you had to fly missiles and planes in 15 second(?) phases broken down into sub-phases that was incredibly unworkable, our wargames club tied it about 4 times and gave up when you could only do about 4-5 15 second turns in an evenings play with about 4 planes.

I was merely musing.

I will see if I can find some EW1 aircraft for the scenario.

Weasel, in the Editor, as you may know, the EW of the Blowpipe is adjustable. So you could set it equal or greater to the EW of the opposing aircraft in your scenario. Or, reduce the EW of the opposing aircraft.
|
Heck, I did not know this! Always learning.
