Default Poland OOB02 v.2014 - supplement

First, thanks for a tremendous work over reworking of the OOB last season.
This time only a small supplement and errata (no more, than 30 minutes ). More important in bold.

45 Staghound - used from around 9/43 (now 6/44). Radio code should be 2 - it was standard late-war AC in units.

104 Hurricane IIc - photo with guns is 12551

178 20mm Quad Truck - there's no information in any publications about such vehicles in the Polish Army -to be removed.

399 37mm wz.16 [class AT-gun] - it should be available in 1/30-12/36, before advent of Bofors, not in France. I've read after last year, that it was indeed meant as a kind of AT gun in early 30s. A portion of AP ammo should be increased then.

Formation 332 AT-Gun Pl (T) should start at 1/30 then.

Formation 374 Inf Tank Pl should be deleted - a leftover, now with AT guns in a place of tanks

425 TK-3 icon should be camouflaged: 2765 or 2757 (they weren't plain green)

426 TK-S icon should be camouflaged: 2787 or 2783

428 C7P tractor - icon should be camouflaged 2833

432 Fox Mk.I - photo is Humber I. I'll attach some Fox photos, that might be useful also for Canadian OOB.

436 Ironside Mk.I - rather certainly wasn't used by the Polish - could be removed.

438 Morris LRC - it rather should be Armored Car 11 class - was used as ordinary armoured car until 12/43 (after this date a small number were used as liaison and command vehicles etc., but it is negligible).
Better, though not ideal, would be 2741 icon (2742 winter) - now it's Dingo.

451 7TP - variant with 37mm gun should be available from 7/38 only (now 7/37), same for formations: 383 Tank Sec,
388 Tank Pl, 389 Tank Co (precisely, they were named Light Tank units)

454 C2P tractor - better icon, dedicated for this unit, is 2823 (winter: 2822)

466 9TP [prototype tank] - armour was supposed to be 40mm in hull's and turret's front. Speed should be lower: 10 (29 km/h)

478 Humber Mk II - used only in 6/42-10/43 (now 8/41-12/43)

479 Rolls Royce A/C (precisely Rolls-Royce). It should be desert variant, with open top, icon 2149, picture 2296, armament of 148 Bren AAMG and fixed Boys, and smoke mortar.

They weren't used before 6/42 (now 7/40-7/41 - should be 6/42 - some 11/43). Before this period Polish units had no regular armoured cars. If the AI needs armoured cars, it's best to copy Beaverette I #435 as class 11 armoured car in 7/40-5/42. It could replace #436 Ironside. On the other hand, Beaverettes should be armed more typically with Bren rather than Boys.

488 Mustang Mk.III should be fighter-bomber class - now it has no formation. And it should also carry bombs, up to 2x500 lb.

490 Limber - there is a better six-horse icon 2849, prepared I assume by Blazejos.

511 Krakow [monitor] - publications say, that probably in 1939 it was rearmed with #226 13.2mm AAMG. So this unit should be until, say, 12/38, and a new one in 1/39-10/39

It's worth to copy 511 and this new unit to create its sistership Wilno, to have complete Polish monitors (say, in 541-543 slots).

519-523 Pinsk, Horodyszcze - all should have icon 3487

529 LKU - should be available from around 1/31 (1/36)

552 7TP prototype - there's no need that it is available after 6/38, when regular 7TP arrive.

569 Wz.29 Ursus - speed should be 12, like units 574, 671 (it was 35 km/h).
There is no information on ammo distribution, but most likely it should have more HE than AP ammo (considering poor AP capabilities), or maybe 48 each (same for units 574, 671)

570 Wz.34 - speed should be 18 (55 km/h) like units 575, 674 - now 16

575 Wz.34 (37mm) - better photo is 29522

618 RWD-14b Czapla - serial variant was named LWS Czapla. It was introduced to units from 5/39 (now 8/38)

619 LWS-3 Mewa - should be available from 9/39 only (7/39)

620-622 Farman Goliath - speed was 154 km/h, so it should be apparently slower. As for unit 622 - last were cancelled by 11/35 (now 12/36)

624, 625 Potez XXV A2, B2 - name of both bomber variants should be B2.
Morgała's book mentions max bomb load: 4x50 kg and 24x12 kg, without 100 kg bombs. Unit 624 could be armed eg. with 24x12 kg only.
There should be only 1 fixed MG.
Max speed of bomber variant was around 190 km/h, so it should be slower.

627 Potez XXV B2-BJ - there should be only 1 fixed MG.

664 Wz.28(late) - proper picture of late version with slanted back is 29506 (I'm attaching better photo)

668 Ursus - I'm attaching a proper photo - a current one shows unarmed loudspeaker car

671 Wz.29 Ursus - correct icon is 3421 (winter 3422 or 3425)

693 Fiat 3000 - bought in summer 31.

699 TK-3 nkm - with this photo and date, it should be TKS, I'd call it "TKS/Solothurn" to differentiate it from later TKS nkm

701 TK-SD with 37mm gun - there was no such variant known. Only 37mm gun was tested in regular TK-S tankette (it should be removed, or replaced with 2787 icon and 2282 picture and fitted with top armour, with crew 2)

702-703 TK-SD - name should be TKD, as it was before.
702 should have TF armor=1 and photo 29475, like 703

704 TK-SD - it should have 013 37mm wz.36 L45 gun, with more AP ammo. Icon should be camouflaged 2778 or 2776

That's all.

Michal
