Disk Ranks Mod - British & Commonwealth

This mod changes the rank abbreviations for Britain and some Commonwealth nations.

Pvt. to Private
Cpl. to Corporal
Maj. to Major
Cpt. to Captain

Many other nations in SP already use more complete ranks rather than abbreviations.
There's an 8 character limit for ranks, which is why Lieutenant can't be spelled out.

Original
Pvt.
L/Cpl.
Cpl.
Sgt.
2nd Lt.
Lt.
Cpt.
Maj.
Lt. Col.
Col.
Brigader

Mod
Private
L/Corp.
Corporal
Sergeant
2nd Lt.
Lt.
Captain
Major
Lt. Col.
Colonel
Brigader

This mod is for the following nations:

British........ Rnk07.dat
ANZAC....... Rnk15.dat
India........... Rnk18.dat
Canada....... Rnk30.dat

Installation

The Ranks folder is found here:

WinSPWW2/Game Data/Ranks

1. Back up your original files
You could create a folder called 'Original Ranks' within your Ranks folder, and then copy and paste the above 4 files into it.

2. Download and unzip the attached 'Ranks 1.0' file, and then copy and paste the 4 files into your 'Ranks' folder, replace all.

NB. This mod is not endorsed or supported by Shrapnel Games or The Camo Workshop.

This mod can be installed mid-game without any OOB or security issues.

Thanks, Cross.
