All of their counters belong to late game, except for Wither Bones and national H3 priests. And in late game Ermor has Burden of Time + Utterdark.

That`s why you need to eat half of the map before endgame. And then you cast Burden of time.

This is purely anecdotal, but in my MA Ermor game, I lost an entire army of 1,000+ cavalry units to a single well placed spell.

Only a thousand? Thousand is a small expansion party for LA Ermor.

Only to be replaced by more chaff. Lost 100 chaff to kill 1 enemy troop? It`s OK ratio for you.

one caveat, tho. remmember, merely your dominion will kill our population when u r LA ermor. that makes u a very inconvenient neighbor. so u might get more negative early game attention than u r used to. but u prob can handle it.

Population. Who really needs them, anyway? I'm sure that the "Friends of Bone Daddy" wouldn't let a few of their dead citizens stand in the way of true friendship.
For those that do we'll magnanimously implement a "no temple on your border" policy, although you'll need to provide your own preachers. A small gratuity of death gems would be warmly accepted as well, but I'm not greedy -- not yet anyway.

Ermor has a distinct advantage in numbers, yes. But that just makes things challenging, right? Time to die like a noob!

Nope. I'm delving into bits of Cthulhu lore. The inspiration behind R'yleth.

What is this dead thing talking about, undigestible? How can you digest when you have no working organs? And they call us MAD!

Yeah, Ermor needs to keep expanding to survive. GOt to grab as much chaff-generating provinces before the really nasty anti-undead counters come online. Anyone that tries to fight you in the early game will probably receive a nice shiny dagger delivered to the back by his neighbors, so there's a disincentive to do that.

Re: BSoD (Newbie, LA, CBM 1.92) (recruiting! 11/12)
Alright, so beyond T'ien C'hi switching over to Abysia, I don't think we have the last slot.
Would everyone like to go with just 11 people (by majority consensus, excluding me)?
I would also like to set a policy on rollbacks. I believe in general, we should avoid them like smallpox. But, if there is a turn (early on, mind), in which the supermajority (i.e. 80%) push for one, we can have it. If we agree, I can also give Ossa his random'd nation.
Also guys, if you're afraid of Ermor, don't fret! I'd suggest communioned banishments (for those of us with access to Astral and Holy mages). Or a crystal matrix+high level priest and a communion. Also Crystal shield.
If you don't have access to that, well: wind guided-flaming arrow'd armies of archers always work. Lammashatas potentially, and lesser horrors if you're into blood. Communion'd thunderstrikes? Large AoE spells like fire clouds also do well.
...I will also be willing to forge Flambeaus for those who wish to pay the price (forge cost+a small fee for the mage turn).
