1) Your script. Soul vortex adds a crapload of fatique; after phoenix pyre you end up even more fatiqued and go down second time as well.
On paper sould vortex + phoenix pyre sounds like an ultimate combo, but it just doesnt work most of the time.
So, just script mirror image, mistform and fire shield. The two air buffs add to their durability immensely, while fire shield deals some damage when mirror image goes down eventually.
2) Your items. Mandehas are very vulnerable to fire, so fire brand is a must against them. Flamebeaus are also great, of course, but they dont deal AOE damage to undead chaff.
For armor slot, take rainbow armor. Mandehas have that sleep aura, it adds fatique if you fail a MR check; rainbow armor helps with both fatique and MR. I'd even go as far as to empower somebody if you cant forge rainbow armors already. Or maybe trade with your neighbours.
