Sieges
What is it with sieges that confuses the game? I've seen it for a long time, but it seems more common now, that the game cannot tell which army is doing the sieging. In a couple of games that I've been in recently, the game thinks that I am the one that is being besieged, when in fact I am the besieger.
It will give me messages like "the sieging force consists of one commander and X number of troops", whereas in reality, that is what the enemy has in the castle I am besieging. Or it will say, "but you still have your castle", when in fact it is the enemy's castle.
Very confusing.

Re: Sieges
Umm, maybe my languance skill test failed, but sieger = attacker and besieger = defender, right?

Re: Sieges
Sieger and besieger mean the same thing.
Yeah, this does seem to be a definite bug in the game.

Re: Sieges
The confused message usually shows up when you're besieging a castle and you've got a spy in your army. Did you see it under other circumstances?

Re: Sieges
A third party attacking the beseiged province can cause all kinds of weird messages, as well.
