Re: Fountain of Blood?
Edi, your DB lists Hinnom's Melqart bonus as +3, and the Pool as +10. I've got no idea what +3 and +10 actually mean though.

Re: Fountain of Blood?
Hmm, if the fountain bonus is listed as +10, then it must have been said on the forums sometime in the past. The +3 for the melqart is confirmed by Kristoffer.
The dousing bonus is +x levels of blood magic for purposes of finding bloodslaves. So a fountain with B9 would hunt for bloodslaves like a regular blood mage with B19. Melqart gets the bonus also to blood sacrifice in addition to hunting.

Re: Fountain of Blood?
Wow!
So, if Hinnom is invading nasty enemy territory, they can stop to pop up a temple, pull out a Jade knife with a Melqart prophet, and hey presto ... 10 temple checks in the province! That should pop up a few white candles, especially for those who took dom9 like Baalz suggests.
