How to pbem in SE V ?

Another fellow and I want to try a pbem game with SE V but neither of us can figure out how to do this. The manual is rather vague in this regard.
Can anybody give me some help here?

.PLR files are your orders for the turn.
Everything else is the savegame.

1) Send savegame to players.
2) Everybody Plays
3) Send PLRs to Host
4) Host loads game and processes the turn
5) Repeat from #1 until their cities burn with your vengeful fire.

I can't find the .PLR files. Where are they located? I've found ****_plr_log.hlg is this the file you're talking about?

.plr files won't be generate unless you select "On different machines" in the game setup.
